Today was a nice day at school. We were learning the new Excel program at school today. I learned how to fill in cells using copy and paste and equations.

After school, my friends and I went to the virtual basketball court and played virtual basketball. It was a good practice for me.

After my basketball I game, I went home and did my homework and took a shower. I then ate dinner and got ready for the next day.

Journal of a Citizen (Student 1)

Journal of a Student
March 14th

Dear Journal,

There really isn't much to tell. Today was over all a normal day for me. I woke up, my dad made breakfast for me. He then took me mans my brother to our bus stop and sent us to school. When I arrived at school, I put in my code and opened my locker. I put my stuff in and grabbed my books and made my way to class. The teacher told us to open our iPads and go to today's lesson. We learned about ancient history in technology like the Galaxy S4. I then went home and saw my dad. I then headed to the virtual mall with my friends. We played in the virtual arcade and I then went home. I ate dinner with my family, played my Playstation 10,000 and then went to bed.

Journal Entry of a Working Class Man
March 14th 2013

Dear Journal,

Today was a normal day. I got up around 6, made breakfast for me and my two sons, got them on their school bus and went to work. As I was making my way to work, I decided to take a flying taxi cab. I was scrolling through my email on my iPhone 33S, saw that my boss needed to meet with me. I stepped out of my cab when I got to work, punched in my pin code, then scanned my eye and entered the government building. I quickly made my way to my bosses office. He told me that he was assigning me to a special project to build technology for the government. He told me I could take the rest of the day off. I went home, relaxed, and made dinner for my family after that.

Why the Shark?

Here in Precocia we are represented by the great white shark. We feel like we are best represented by this for two reasons. The shark is a fierce animal. It is aggressive and likes to be at the top of the food chain. We feel as if the Precocians are the same way. Our students and workers strive to be at the top. Without them, Precocia wouldn't be at the top. The other reason that we represent ourself with the shark is for the science behind how it swims. The shark cannot swim backwards. If the shark stops swimming it will die. Precocia as a city is the same way. We move forward and keep getting smarter, faster, and more intelligent as a city. Overall, we feel like the shark was the best animal to represent our citizens and our city.

What does Precocia Mean?

What does "Precocia" Mean?

Precocia comes from the Greek word "Precocious." According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, precocious means "unusually advanced or mature in development, especially mental development". We feel like this word represents us appropriately. Precocia's goal is to be ahead of everybody else. We want to be intelligent. We want to incorporate top of the line technology into our schools and workplaces. We truly are advanced, our students are smarter, our city is cleaner, our employees are faster, and we as a city are more intelligent.

The Rules of Precocia

The Official Rules of Precocia

Yes, although it may serve as a shocker, there are rules, even in a utopia. But to ensure that we stay a utopia, we must put some rules in place. Below, you will find a list of rules. As long as you are living in Precocia, these rules are to be followed. Multiple violations of the set rules will result in the removal from the community.

All children under the age of 18 must attend school. The student will graduate from their duty of going to school once they turn 18, and finish their senior year of high school. This rule is purely to ensure that Precocia stays ahead and has exemplary students.
Just as any country would, every citizen in Precocia is to conduct themselves in a professional and appropriate manner. This means that there is order. This city is not a playground. The people will keep order and act like responsible, professional, and classy people.
Similar to most countries you are to have respect for other citizens. Respect they're space. Their home is their home. Their property is their property. There is no theft. If you are to burglarize a home or business, you are immediately sent out of Precocia, and your are fined to pay for the damages and property destroyed.
The Precocian government works hard to provide a job for everybody that lives in Precocia. We ask that anybody capable of doing work tries to fill these jobs to ensure that Precocia is a clean and successful city. Those who are over the age of 55 are not required to work any longer and are allowed to retire.
In Precocia, we do have taxes. Citizens are responsible for helping support the city, but the city cannot function without the proper funds. To ensure that Precocia's economy stays our of an economic hole, we do tax people, not on each paycheck or item, but by their income at the end of the year. Each family or residential household will receive one bill for money owed to the government, if these taxes are not payed to the Legislative Office within one month of the date due, you will receive interest of 2% every two days.

Declaration of Independence

Declaration of Independence

We the people of Precocia have written this document in order to declare the separation of the utopian nation of Precocia, from the rest of the world. Precocia is different from the rest of the world. There is no crime, no war, and no economic disaster, or status division.
Precocia comes from the Greek word "precocious." The meaning of precocious " unusually advanced or mature in development, especially mental development." according the Merriam-Webster Dictionary. This sets us apart from the rest of the world. We are always ahead. We are the top country in the field of technology. We are run by the people who have mastered technology and have used it to make this world a better place.
Our president Steve Jobs once said, "What a computer is to me is the most remarkable tool that we have ever come up with. It's the equivalent of a bicycle for our minds." We in Precocia recognize this fact, and we are sure to utilize the tools that we have developed. We use them in daily life for basic tasks that people from other countries do traditionally, without the use of the newest technology.
We are democratic. We let the citizens vote, much like the United States likes to think they do. Our citizens votes counts. In the U.S, you use electoral votes, the citizens opinion has no true impact on the results of an election.
We are different from you. There is no other place like Precocia. We are ahead of everybody else. Our city is cleaner, safer, smarter, and better than any other place on this planet.
With this, we are not asking for permission, we are now officially separated from the rest of the world. We are now our own world, our own continent, our own country, but most importantly, our own people.

Our Government

Here in Precocia, our government is strictly democratic. We have a President, Steve Jobs, two Vice Presidents, Bill Gates, and Mark Zuckerberg. Other than that, we look to our citizens to help us make decisions. We re-elect every 4 years, where the president and our two Vice Presidents are put up for re-elections, and challengers are welcome.

Want more information about Precocia?

Dear Friends and Family,

I am writing to you from a newly founded utopian society at I like to call "Precocia." Precocia is anything you would ever want and more in a home. It is an excellent place to raise a family. Precocia is absolutely 100% crime free. There are no burglars, no killers, and no kidnappers. And in the event that we do find somebody violating our code of conduct, they are immediately exiled from Precocia. Not only is the city crime free, but there are plenty of child facilities that the children can go to play and socialize with other kids.
Not only is Precocia a good place for kids but also for adults. There are plenty of jobs for all adults to occupy. There is no unemployment. Everybody has a job just for them, whether it is a banker, a mail carrier, or a street cleaner, everybody has a job.
There are just a few rules that come along with living in Precocia. One is that there are basic laws to ensure public safety amongst the citizens. Those who do not follow the law will be instantly sent out of Precocia. We try to build a crime free society, and those who serve as an obstacle in our way for us to reach this goal will be removed.
Another reason why Precocia is so special is because we are ahead of all regular countries in the field of technology. "Precocia" comes from the word precocious. Precocious if from Greek decent, and means "moving forward" or "always ahead." We feel like this represents us because we are the top society in technology.

I hope that reading this letter has helped you make your decision to move to our society,
